Opposition MPs in Scotland have voiced their anger following a revelation that the cost of a new pair of LNG-fuelled ropaxes has doubled.
The 7,040-gt, 1,000-passenger duo were ordered in 2015 for state-owned Caledonian MacBrayne, which runs lifeline services to remote communities.
The Glen Sannox had been due in April next year, with the sistership said to be coming in December from Ferguson Marine Engineering in Port Glasgow.
