The company sold the 1,000-teu Kawa Mas (built 1985) to breakers in China for $330 per ldt, or $1.5m, according to cash buyers GMS.
Jakarta-based Temas, which scrapped a flurry of vessels last year, still has 24 small boxships in its fleet six of which are older than the Kawa Mas.
The vessels are engaged in the Indonesian domestic trade.
