Allferries is paying an undisclosed price for the 657-lane-metre Adriatica Queen (ex Vana Tallinn, built 1974).

The Albanian owner has operated the 1,500 passenger vessel inthe Mediterranean on a three-year charter that began in mid 2011.

Tallink says it does not expect the sale to have a material bearing on its earnings.

The company made a net profit of EUR 44m ($59.17m) in the three months to 30 September.
