In a brief announcement, Solvang said it now owns 30% of the 38,501-cbm Odin (built 2005).
The vessel will be delivered in the fourth quarter of the year and it will directly enter a time charter contract.
Solvang did not disclose the price of the acquisition.
The company started the year with a bigger profit boosted by strong VLGC rates while it topped up its shareholding in three LPG carriers two months ago.
