The Bangkok-listed owner has agreed to pay Sainty Marine $27.4m each for a pair of 64,000-dwt units, it said today confirming a report in TradeWinds earlier this month.
Hull Nos SAM13009B and SAM13010B are set for delivery by the end of June next year suggesting they are resales.
Precious has also contracted to pay $22.3m each for a pair of handysize vessels at China Shipbuilding & Offshore International (CSOI) and Shanhaiguan New Shipbuilding Industry (SNSI).
