The Italian shipbuilder will pocket EUR 175m ($238m) for constructingthe Roll Royce designed vessel for the Institute of Marine Research.
The ‘Kronprins Haakon’, named after the heir to theNorwegian throne, will be built at the Riva Trigoso-Muggiano shipyard in Italy.
However it will be shifted to Fincantieri controlled Norwegianshipbuilder Vard for final outfitting and sea trials before delivery in late 2016.
