The compatriot shipyard will build a platform supply vessel ata cost of NOK 400m ($65.4m).
Vard Brevik in Norway will deliver the Rolls-Royce UT 776designed vessel in early 2015 while the hull will be built at Vard Braila inRomania.
Roy Reite, CEO of Fincantieri-controlled Vard, said: “In total, we have deliveredmore than 30 vessels to Island Offshore.
“Currently, VARD has five vessels under construction forIsland Offshore.”
