The Kuala Lumpur-listed company will shell out MYR 70m ($21.2m)for an accommodation workboat for delivery in the final quarter of next year.

Payment will be funded by internally generated funds andbank borrowings, Dayang said in an exchange filing.

The company gave no further details of the acquisition.

Dayang owns a fleet of five multifunctional supportvessels all built at Shin Yang Shipyard.
