The Hong Kong and Shanghai-listed owner is sending the 38,830-dwtMing Chi (built 1993) to breakers for CNY 20.5m ($3.3m), it said today in an exchange filing.
It works out at $370 per ldt for the Bohai Shipyard-builtvessel which will be scrapped at related company Digang Shipyard.
CSDC will book a CNY 7.5m loss on the sale of the vessel whichis due be handed over on 27 October.
