Singapore-listed Courage Marine has secured a second supramax hot on the heals of a similar ship bought from the same source earlier this month.

The shipowner made the move through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zorina Navigation, and has signed a memorandum of agreement with Zhejiang Zengzhou Shipbuilding.

Hsu Chih Chien, Courage Marine’s chairman, said: “The acquisition of these two new Supramax-sized vessels demonstrates the group’s commitment to innovate and explore new markets and stay cost-competitive.”
