Japan’s NYK has set up a joint venture to run vessels for offshore wind farm business.
Japan Offshore Support (JOS) has been established with Akita Eisen, a domestic tug operator, to provide ship maintenance and management services for new power projects.
It will also offer training and employment for seafarers.
