Beijing has fired a warning shot at ship managers to step up measures to contain the coronavirus pandemic following a recent spike in infections in South Asia.
A ban of up to 30 days preventing foreign crew changes in China was placed on nine ship managers after a number of Covid-19 infection cases were uncovered, and they were warned that further cases would not be tolerated.
