State-owned Shipping Corp of India (SCI) has confirmed its debut VLGC buy.
It has taken delivery of a 53,503-dwt vessel renamed Nanda Devi, it said in a statement.
The details tally with the specification of BW LPG's 82,000-cbm BW Vision (built 2001), which TradeWinds reported was on subjects to SCI in July.
A price of $35m or $36m was suggested by brokers.
