A Viken Shipping tanker has been holed in a clash with a fishing vessel off New York.
The US Coast Guard (USCG) said the collision involving the loaded aframax Tofteviken (115,000 dwt, built 2005) occurred at sea on Saturday evening, nearly 30 miles south-east of Bridgehampton.
Tofteviken suffered a nine-metre gash along its port hull. There were no injuries reported to the crew.
