Shipping magnate John Fredriksen is expanding his offshore operations with a new subsea ship order in China.

Brokers report Fredriksen is behind a deal announced earlier this month by Kuok Maritime Group shipbuilder PaxOcean for up to four offshore construction vessels (OCVs).
