The UK has warned owners to be wary of air and sea temperatures when buying fuel after a fatal boiler blast on a K Line boxship.
One crewman died and another suffered severe burns on the 13,900-teu Manhattan Bridge (built 2015) at Felixstowe in January.
They were attempting to restart an auxiliary boiler after it had suffered a flame failure cut out.
