Mexico’s two largest ports are in the path of one of the largest hurricanes ever seen in the eastern Pacific.
According to US National Hurricane Center, Category-5 Patricia is expected to make landfall late Friday afternoon with wind speeds approaching 200 miles (320 kilometres) per hour.
The Mexican government has put an area of Mexico’s Pacific Coast stretching from San Blas to Punta San Telmo under hurricane watch.
