A bout of gastroenteritis on board the 28,500-gt Boudicca (built 1973) left 84 out of 763 passengers vomiting and suffering from diarrhoea after leaving Belfast in Northern Ireland.
The vessel departed on Monday 23 September for a 10-night Scandinavian cruise and will make an early return to Belfast tomorrow and undergo a deep clean, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines confirmed in a statement.
