Beluga Shipping has slammed naval authorities for a perceived lack of assistance as another of the German owner’s ships was hijacked by pirates.
Crew of the 9,775-dwt Beluga Nomination survived over two days in an onboard citadel before finally succumbing to the pirate assault which began on Saturday.
The Antigua & Barbuda-flagged vessel was taken 800 miles north of the Seychelles while en route from Malta to South Korea.
