Two crew members abducted from a Greek ship in a brutal attack off Nigeria last month have been freed.



The Ukrainian master and Greek chief engineer of the 6,994-dwt Perseas are said to be well following their release on Friday morning.

The men are currently at a Nigerian naval base awaiting medical check-ups following their 17-day ordeal.



There is no word on what ransom, if any, was paid to free the two who were snatched
