A Greek bulker operated by Entrust Maritime which showed 13 deficiencies headed the list of ships to be held in the UK in December.
A mysterious general cargo ship which is also thought to have ties to Greece was also collared as it had a cracked hull.
Entrust’s 47,700-dwt Anarchos (built 1996) was clamped in Belfast as seven of its deficiencies showed grounds for detention.
“The cargo manual was incomplete, instructions were missing for the dangerous goods code and there was insufficient documentation in respect of bulk cargoes,” the UK’s Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) wrote in its detention report.
