A multipurpose vessel (MPP) has grounded in Greek waters, damaging its forepeak.
The Hellenic Coast Guard (HCG) reports that the 5,579-dwt Nova Cura (built 1999) ran aground off the island of Lesvos yesterday.
There were seven crewmembers on the ship at the time of the incident, the HCG added.
Local authorities did not notice any sea pollution as a result of the accident.
