The Liberian Registry has launched a new digital port state control (PSC) risk assessment tool that it says will help shipowners to be better prepared for inspection.
The Detention Prevention Programme assess in real time the differing PSC inspection criteria around the globe to inform Liberian-registered owners of what inspectors at a ship’s port of destination will be looking out for.
