Russian port calls slumped by 40% in the days following its invasion of Ukraine, with shipping traffic continuing to sail away from the country ever since, according to data analysis company Windward.
The dramatic decline comes as shipping companies steer clear of Russian cargoes for fear of breaking the ever-increasing network of sanctions, and turn their back on the trade for Russia’s unprovoked invasion of the Ukraine.
