The US Port of Long Beach has seen a second consecutive month of declines in container volumes.

Throughput at the West Coast port was down 15.2% on a year ago to 388,589-teu from the 458,336-teu seen a year ago.

But the port said the drop in imports in February was partly attributable to the early Chinese Lunar New Year holidays.
