Authorities in the US appear to have contained fuel that spilled from a German containership early Tuesday morning.

The US Coast Guard says contractor Moran Environmental Services was called in to deploy several thousand feet of boom around the 5,089-teu Maersk Dellys (built 2006), which ran into trouble during a bunkering operation at the Garden City Terminal in Savannah, Georgia.

Officials
