Finnish marine services group Wartsila is to cut 450 jobs at its four-stroke engine factory in Italy.
The move is part of plans to further optimise its European engine manufacturing footprint, the company said.
Manufacturing will be “ramped down” at the plant in Trieste as operations are centralised in Vaasa, Finland.
