Big names feast on Scorpio’s last capes
John Fredriksen and John Angelicoussis emerged as buyers of five modern capesize vessels sold by Scorpio Bulkers.
Fredriksen of Norway purchased two 180,000-dwt newbuildings nearing completion at South Korea’s Daehan Shipbuilding.
Greece’s Angelicoussis reportedly paid $33m for 180,000-dwt SBI Magnum, SBI Montesino and SBI Camacho (all built 2015).
