South African intermodal logistics giant Grindrod Ltd has announced the appointment of Xolani Mbambo to succeed Andrew Waller as Grindrod’s chief executive.
The appointment takes effect upon Waller’s retirement on 1 January 2023.
Mbambo, who joined Grindrod in 2013, is currently an executive director of the company, and chief executive of its freight services division.
