Mitsui OSK Lines plans to set up a Singapore sub-headquarters, according to company president and CEO Takeshi Hashimoto.
During MOL’s Foundation Day speech, Hashimoto said that MOL planned to “group six major subsidiaries in Singapore together as the Singapore sub-headquarters”, to improve efficiency through overall optimisation and eliminating duplicated functions.
Hashimoto said that, until now, each business unit had developed independently.
