The Norwegian offshore specialistshipbuilder will pocket NOK 55m ($9.2m) to construct the unit at its yard inBraila, Romania.

Delivery of the 46 metre vessel is set forthe third quarter of 2014, Roy Reite-led Vard announced today.

Vard Braila has previous with CMI havingbuilt five icebreaking tugs for the company in the past.

The new vessel will be especially equipped forsurvey operations in the Caspian Sea.
