John Fredriksen-backed Seadrill Partners is handing over the operation of its drillship fleet to Houston's Vantage Drilling International as it undergoes Chapter 11 restructuring.
Vantage said the framework agreement also covers management and marketing of the four deepwater units.
Seadrill Partners, which has 11 drilling units in total, filed for reorganisation in the US in December 2020, and was later followed by the parent Seadrill group.
