There were no open spot offshore support vessels in Norway on Wednesday as rates spiked.
Brokers' lists showed a dearth of both platform supply vessels (PSVs) and anchor-handlers.
The 5,000-dwt Mokster PSV Stril Mar (built 2016) managed to secure NOK 100,000 ($11,900) per day from Aker BP for supply duties, up NOK 30,000 from the last-done level.
The 3,250-dwt PSV Havila Aurora (built 2009) was fixed by DONG Energy at £5,500 ($7,000) in the UK, up from a low of £3,900 in recent days.
