Nexen UK will take the 2,100-dwt Ocean Tay (built 1992) for two firm years from December with options for a further 12 months, the company said today.
Atlantic purchased the vessel as the Bourbon Eko in September and immediately embarked on its conversion into an emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV).
The Ocean Tay is currently in Sunderland undergoing the transition to comply with UK class A standby requirements.
