A Thai seafarer was snatched from a pipe-laying vessel around the same time as three Bourbon crew members were kidnapped off Nigeria, TradeWinds has learned.
There are also unconfirmed reports of attacks on other vessels near the Bonny River overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday as the piracy situation escalates in the region.
Around 21 armed pirates stormed the Jascon 30 (built 2007) just after 22:00 local time on Tuesday.
