Japan's NYK Line has raised its profit prediction by a massive ¥40bn ($363m) due to a surge in boxship demand.
The shipowner said recurring profit for the fiscal year ending 31 March would be about ¥200bn, compared to a forecast of ¥160bn on 3 February.
The company's Ocean Network Express (ONE) joint venture with Mitsui OSK Lines and K Line is exceeding expectations "due to continued strong transportation demand", NYK added.
