Japan's NYK Line has agreed a contract of affreightment (COA) with Finland's Neste Shipping to move renewable diesel.
The Japanese owner revealed its Singapore unit — NYK Bulkship — signed up for the first spot deal for the alternative biofuel in December, and completed the voyage in February.
The company has now clinched the COA for regular trips from Singapore to the US.
