Norway's Klaveness Digital is joining forces with aluminium industry players to help reduce risk and waste in the sector.
The Torvald Klaveness technology arm said the aim is for shippers and bulker owners to build a real-time "digital twin" of their maritime supply chains.
These would then be used to examine a series of "what if" scenarios to help evaluate the uncertainty and risks involved.
