More US LNG exports were shipped to Asia via the Suez Canal in January than through the Panama Canal, according to data analyst Kpler.
Speaking in a webinar, Kpler head of research Alex Booth said that although canal congestion was “very severe” in the fourth quarter of 2020, voyage durations did not increase as cargo shippers were forced to find alternative routes.
