Algerian state energy company Sonatrach once again will invite scrap bids on its oldest LNG carrier.
Hyproc Shipping — Sonatrach’s shipowning arm — plans to sell its 126,130-cbm Ramdane Abane (built 1981) by tender on an “as is, where is” basis.
The 40-year-old vessel, which ranks as the 10th-oldest in the world LNG fleet, was circulated for scrap sale in 2019.
