More than 240 LNG carrier newbuildings will be required in the next 10 years to serve an anticipated annual increase in global LNG demand, shipbroker BRS calculates.
In its annual review, BRS estimates 241 additional LNG carriers will need to be commissioned to accommodate a projected 5% annual increase in LNG demand over the next decade, pushing global demand to 665 mtpa by 2034.
