Maran Tankers Management has found a Greek buyer for a 20-year-old VLCC as the company continues to clear out its older vessels in the sector.
The Greek shipowner has sold the 306,000-dwt Antonis I Angelicoussis (built 2000) to an apparent trading buyer for $19.5m, Greek brokers said.
Initial reports suggested that the DSME-built tanker had been committed to a deal in November for $24.65m,
