Iino Kaiun Kaisha — also known as Iino Lines — is to grow its fleet with dual-fuel VLGC newbuildings constructed at South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.
The Japanese owner is said to be finalising an order for a firm, 91,000-cbm vessel, with one option.
Shipbuilding players said Iino is booking the vessels against a long-term charter from Austrian chemical company Borealis AG.
