Before the end of 2020, the first floating storage and regasification unit conversion for KARMOL — Karpowership and Mitsui OSK Lines’ joint venture — is due to leave Singapore for Senegal in West Africa.
It will be a key moment for Turkey’s Karpowership. Not only will it mark the first time the company has put an FSRU into service in which it has a stake, but it will be another step towards switching all of its 25 powerships over to run on natural gas.
