A floating storage and regasification unit for Swan Energy’s planned terminal on India’s west coast has been delivered and is being marketed for trading while it awaits the start-up of the project.
Brokers’ reports list the 180,000-cbm FSRU newbuilding Vasant 1 as being worked by trader Trafigura for a spot business.
The FSRU, which is 51% owned by Swan, with the balance held by Indian fertiliser company IFFCO under company Triumph Offshore, was delivered on Tuesday by South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries and is scheduled to leave the yard on 4 October.
