Diana Shipping has fixed one of its capesize bulk carriers on a long-term period charter, while more losses have been sustained in the spot market.
The 179,362-dwt Seattle (built 2011) was fixed to Pacbulk Shipping of Singapore for 16 to 19 months at a gross daily rate of $12,300 per day, minus 5% commission.
