Canada is poised to have its first west coast LPG export terminal under a deal agreed between Vopak and infrastructure investment firm AltaGas.
The Dutch terminals group will take a 30% interest in Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal (RIPET). No financial terms were disclosed.
RIPET is to be designed to ship 1.2mt of propane per annum, with about 96,000-cbm of storage capacity.
