Norwegian Cruise Lines has chartered flights to repatiate almost 1,000 of its seafarers to the Philippines as the coronavirus pandemic takes its toll on the tourism sector.
The 899 crew had been stranded on cruiseships around the world as vessels are quarantined or laid up due to the Covid-19 virus crisis.
