New York-listed New Fortress Energy has fixed an LNG carrier controlled by Spanish energy utility Naturgy on period hire to work as a shuttle vessel.
Industry sources said New Fortress had fixed the steam-turbine vessel for a 90-day time charter.
The ship is scheduled for delivery in Jamaica in early April.
The charter rate and the vessel's name have yet to emerge.
