India's shipping ministry has said it will not oppose the proposed sell-off of Shipping Corp of India (SCI).
It came out against a privatisation plan in 2017 but has now agreed to a stake disposal in the state-run group.
"We had not opposed the strategic sale of SCI," shipping secretary Gopal Krishna told PTI. "The matter is now with the cabinet."
